Disclaimer: It is very difficult to see all of 2008′s movies within the actual year as most of the really great movies come out right before Oscar selections. So if you freak out because “Eagle Eye,” is on Drew’s list and “The Wrestler,” is not… it probably just means we haven’t yet seen it. Please, do not hold us against this, as these are a judgment of only the movies we’ve seen.

  1. E Sloan Says:

Listen, I really have to agree with Ryan Kelly on his music selection and disagree with everyone else. Coldplay should NOT make any top-10 list this year.

Was their album vastly better than their previous efforts? Unequivocally. We can all thank Brian Eno for that. But I’m afraid the lyrics fail to land this album on any top-10 list.

(And trust me, it pains me to have to be in agreement with only R Kelly.)

  2. Alastair Says:

Elizabeth it’s tough to take you seriously when you hack down Coldplay’s lyrics yet seem to take no issue with the fact that a grown man who wrote an entire album about a break up for emo kids is #1 on Ryan’s list.

    Thus your credibility is ruined.

Plus, everyone doesn’t want to put Coldplay on their list because it’s obvious. So although I understand the allure to be popular by being “different” you’re so wrong.

    Kindest Regards, Merry Christmas.
